    In Reassembling the Social Latour remarks, rather amusingly, that structure is merely the name for a network that we don’t know anything about.

    I’m not trying to dispute your characterization, to be sure, just thought you might be interested…

  2. Hmm. That makes sense. RtS is high on my “to-read” list. I’m taking an entire class on Actor-Network theory in the Fall, which is why I put it off. And the characterization was meant to be a bit facetious.

    It makes a little sense, perhaps. At least insofar as we turn the words structure and network into synonyms. And, then, the statement is meaningless.
